Hi friends, just wanted to bring to your notice a rare incidence that happened in a remote village named Mumbrabad, Jalgaon in Maharashtra. It came to my knowledge when I was going through a leading local newspaper.
This happened on November 12th 2007. Dr. Ramaswamy CEO of Primary Education Department had informed all the officials to publish the list of all the primary school teachers who were promoted. The particular list was published in the Zillah Parishad.
Due to the clerical mistake of the officials one of the promoted teachers date of birth was written as date of joining i.e. 12/05/1973 in Mumbrabad district of Jalgaon. When contacted the Prmary Education Officer Mr.S.K.Valvi for clarification, he said no action has been taken as there was no official complaint. If there is so, they will appoint an enquiry committee for the said matter.
